Energy Efficient Parallel Configuration Based Six Degree of Freedom Machining Bed

The process of material removal from a workpiece to obtain the desired shape is termed machining. Present-day technologies have high spindle speeds and thus allow quick removal. These high-speed spindles are highly exposed vibrations and, as result, accuracy final workpiece’s dimensions compromised. To overcome this problem, motion tool restricted, multiple degrees freedom given through in different axes. A machining bed configured parallel manipulator capable giving six (DOF) proposed regard. However, DOF should be energy efficient avoid an increase cost. benefit using configuration reduction dimensional error computational time which, reduces utilization, vibrations, practice. This paper presents kinematics, dynamics efficiency models, development bed. model derived model. models verified simulation experimentally. minimize computation time, PID controller also designed tested well resulting analyzed. results verify efficacy bed, minimizing position 2% reducing by 27%, hence consumption enhancing 60%.
